Facility Rental
The Museum provides an unforgettable venue for your meetings, special events, holiday parties, school functions, baby or bridal showers, and more! Located in the Miller Pavilion at Milwaukee's O'Donnell Park, the Museum setting is spectacular and includes two outdoors balconies with a breathtaking view of Lake Michigan. The Museum's downtown location and area parking offers added convenience for your guests. And, the Museum is an ideal place to host parties during festival fireworks and other lakefront events!

Reserve the entire Museum and accommodate up to 300 guests, or just rent a room for groups of 25 - 100. Whether it's a family event or just adults who want to have some fun, everyone will enjoy the hands-on exhibits and playful atmosphere the Museum has to offer.

Customize your event
Work with the caterer of your choice to design your event. Need advice? The Museum provides event planning services. Need equipment? Visual and sound equipment are also available for that perfect presentation. Looking for programming? Ask about the Museum's fun, educational activities.

The big day
Experienced Museum staff will be here to support your function and keep the Museum looking its best during the event.

Rental options:
  • Entire Museum - 2nd floor exhibit area and 3rd floor rooms: $1,300
    1 - 5 hours - capacity 300
  • Exhibit area - 2nd floor: $1,000
    1 - 5 hours - capacity 300
  • Marcus Children's Theater* - 3rd floor: $100
    1 - 2 hours - capacity 100
  • Northwestern Mutual Quiet Room* - 2nd floor: $60
    1 - 2 hours - capacity 75
  • Harnischfeger Party Room - 3rd floor: $60
    1 - 2 hours - capacity 25
*Theater style seating.
Non-profit groups receive a 10% discount.

Fees include Museum personnel, custodial, and event planning services. Additional fees will be applied for extended use or special cleaning requirements.

The following rental equipment is available upon request for $25 each:
  • Overhead and screen
  • VCR and television
  • Sound system and microphone
  • Laptop/L.C.D. Projector
