Playtimes
Wednesday-Monday: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Museum is closed on Tuesdays.
Open 9 a.m.-7 p.m. on the third Thursday of every month with free admission.
Please present your mobile phone with your tickets for entry. The Museum will no longer be accepting expired passes or coupons.

Ticket sales are non-refundable. If you have questions about your reservation, please call 390-5437 ext. 222 or email questions@bbcmkids.org.

Admission
Members: Tickets are FREE! Not a member? Join here!
Adults & Children: $12.50
Seniors (age 60+): $11.50
Children younger than 1: FREE!
Museums for All: $2 per person, up to four people, with the presentation of a SNAP Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card. Ticket purchases can be made in-person only. Proof of qualification is required for Museum admission.
Military Discount: $2 off per person, up to 6 people. Valid with presentation of an active military ID. Can only be purchased in-person. Proof of qualification is required for Museum admission.

Children must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or older) at all times during Museum visits. Adults visiting the Museum must be visiting with a child or have a scheduled appointment.

Location
The Museum is located at 929 E. Wisconsin Ave. on the second floor of the Miller Brewing Pavilion. Parking is available in the adjacent Museum Center Park garage. Visitors may access the Museum via elevator or stairs. Additional information can be found on our Location, Directions & Parking page.

Holiday Hours
The Museum is closed on New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, September 3-6, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Food and Drink
Visitors are welcome to bring food from home. Small snacks can be enjoyed in the seating area, located by the Museum’s Information Desk, outdoors, on the Museum’s balconies or in Museum Center Park. No food or beverages are allowed in Museum exhibit areas. Betty’s Beans and Books is the Museum’s café, proudly serving Stone Creek Coffee and snacks. The shop is open from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. during regular business hours. Guests are invited to bring their own closed coffee cup, or purchase a reusable branded cup or ceramic travel mug. Groups or parties will be asked to leave the café area. Birthday parties are not permitted. Coolers, cakes or large meals are not permitted.

Bring-your-own-cup: $3.50 per fill
Black, reusable branded cup: $6, first cup of coffee included in purchase. Refills are $2.50.

Members receive 10% all Beans and Books purchases.
Beans and Books purchases can be made with credit card only. Purchases are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Photography
A Museum staff member may be taking photos/recording video during a family visit. Please inform a Guest Experience staff member or the photographer if you would prefer not to have your photo taken or be in video. You will be notified if any images of your family are captured. Photos are primarily used for social media purposes. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact questions@bbcmkids.org and review our Photography-Videography policy.

Weapons
Weapons, including concealed carry, are prohibited at the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum. Guests entering our space with a weapon of any kind will be asked to return them to their vehicle before beginning a Museum visit. Guests who do not respect our policy will be asked to leave the building, and security or police may be called.

Museum Rules

To ensure a fun family visit, we encourage all guests to be kind, be safe and to share.

Stay Together, Play Together
Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult (18 years or older) at all times during Museum visits. Adults visiting the Museum must be visiting with a child or have a scheduled appointment.
Shoes Are Required
Guests must wear shoes while playing in the Museum. Socks are preferred in our Science City climber experience and our Pocket Park tumble area.
Walking Feet
For the safety of yourself and others, please walk in the Museum.
Food and Drinks
Please utilize our designated seating areas to eat: the café area, the Atrium and the balconies (weather-permitting). Groups larger than eight (8) will be asked to eat their snacks or meals in the Atrium. Birthday parties, large coolers, cakes or catering is not permitted. Guests must use drinkware with lids, no glass containers are allowed.
Hygiene
Diapers are only to be changed in the restrooms. Please wash hands and use hand sanitizer regularly during your visit.
