Alternate Routes to Get to the Museum

From the west or northwest (West Allis, Wauwatosa, Brookfield, Waukesha, Menomonee Falls) via I-94: Take exit 1E toward Van Buren Street and stay left to continue onto Van Buren Street. Then, either turn right on Michigan Street to enter the Museum Center Park garage at 910 E Michigan Street, or turn right on Wisconsin Avenue to enter the Museum Center Park garage just north of the large orange sculpture.

From the south via 794 (Bay View, St. Francis, Cudahy): Take the left-hand exit onto Milwaukee Street and stay straight to continue onto Milwaukee Street. Then, either turn right on Michigan Street to enter the Museum Center Park garage at 910 E Michigan Street, or turn right on Wisconsin Avenue to enter the Museum Center Park garage just north of the large orange sculpture. 

From the north via city streets (East Side, Shorewood): Access to the Lincoln Memorial Drive entrance for the Museum Center Park garage will remain open during construction. However, there may be more traffic than usual. Alternative routes include: 

• Take Farewell Avenue south until it connects with Prospect Avenue. Stay left to continue onto Prospect Avenue. Turn left in the Museum Center Park garage just north of the large orange sculpture.
• Take Farewell Avenue south until it connects with Prospect Avenue. Stay left to continue onto Prospect Avenue. Turn left on Cass Street and then turn left onto Michigan Street to enter the Museum Center Park garage at 910 E Michigan Street.

Tips for entering the Museum Center Park garage from Wisconsin Avenue:

• Once inside the garage, follow the EXIT signs down one level to the West Elevators. Visitors can access the Museum via the West Elevators.
• The Wisconsin Avenue entrance is not an exit. Guests will need to leave the garage at Michigan Street (level 2) or Lincoln Memorial Drive (level 1).
