Friday, July 31 | 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Grab your safety glasses and get ready to build! During this hands-on workshop, children will learn basic tool safety, explore STEAM concepts and create their very own wooden bookends to decorate and take home.
Each participant will also receive a free book, making it easy to fill their new bookends with a favorite story and inspire a lifelong love of reading.

Drop in for daily tinkering in our Be A Maker space! Kids are encouraged to use their creativity to bring their own idea to life or grab a Blueprint and follow directions for a Maker project.

Learn how to create a bouncy ball! We need the help of young chemists to join us as we experiment and learn about the scientific method while making a toy to take home.

July: Splatter Fireworks
Show off your creative expression while making one-of-a-kind art! We'll be using small tools and learning about safe risk-taking to make our paint splatter.

Our Field Trips and Group Visits are perfect for schools and organizations seeking hands-on, educational experiences.
We offer 90-minute Self-Guided Field Trips for schools, childcare centers and nonprofit groups of 10 or more. Groups may also choose to add a Field-Trip Program to their visit.
Wonder Wagon
Wonder Wagon
Our Wonder Wagon brings hands-on activities and collaborative projects into the community. The Wonder Wagon is available to visit parks, community centers, schools, partner sites, special events and private functions.
