Families are invited to join a day of hands-on learning, creativity and fun with special guest Jay Flores, author of “Engineer Someday: A Bilingual STEM Adventure” and two-time semi-finalist on American Ninja Warrior! Join us for interactive story times, a meet-and-greet and photo op, and exciting science demonstrations to see how curiosity and creativity work hand in hand! Guests can also explore engineering in action through activities in the Museum’s Be A Maker space, including cardboard creations and Engineering Bingo.

Flores’ book, Engineer Someday, is designed to introduce engineering to kids ages 0-7 through playful rhymes, fun analogies, and engaging illustrations. By making engineering concepts accessible in both English and Spanish, Jay aims to inspire the next generation of innovators while supporting bilingual education.
